Ms. Vibeth Atienza arrived in Lubbock, Texas in September 2003 through IQHPC's international nurse placement services. She was originally assigned in the Oncology unit when she started employment and is now working in the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. Since Ms. Atienza initiated her employment with UMC Health System, she has become a Charge Nurse, achieved Career Ladder Level II, and has also obtained the Oncology Certification.

Since May of 2002, IQHPC has provided qualified nurses to help alleviate UMC's nurse shortage. In addition to helping UMC provide quality care, it provides the nurses with new educational and career opportunities.
